“The persistent tendency of Heresy, whether ancient or contemporary, is to lay hold upon a few impressive texts and to wrench some rigid and erroneous interpretation from these. This Origen would not allow. He wanted the whole Bible to speak, because he knew that what the Bible taught in its entirety are the central Christian truths of catholic Christianity.” Bruce Shelley, Church History in Plain Language

Finally, Happy New Years With the Song!
Well, here is the song "Auld Lang Syne" sung by myself and two of my siblings. We had some glitches throughout - and a different, better recording we made did not work. So this is the best one I have to offer! Hope you enjoy... (Note the Scottish garb)
We are trying to come up with a name for our group, any ideas? Leave a comment if you come up with one...
Valentines Day is coming!
In honor of one of my favorite holidays I have changed my blogs appearance. It is temporary and will revert to its original layout when February 14th has passed.
Our family has the tradition of decorating paper bags and putting our valentines to each other in them. Sometimes it can become quite an elaborate affair! I especially enjoy coming up with creative ways to say "I love and appreciate you" each year. Its fun to see all the different styles we come up with, some people prefer glitter - others not. Most of us like stickers though.
This year I have put together a special valentine for all you girls out there. Its a special poem about Jesus Christ our true Bridegroom, and about saving your heart for your knight - not all the knaves and "perhapses" that waltz your way. Instead of just posting it I have made it into a slide show with a colorful "fairy tale" theme. I'll be posting it next week, before Valentines Day because I want it to take advantage of the "girlie" background while its up. Below is a sneek peek picture!
