~Day 4: Modesty Fashion Challenge~

~Today's outfit is comprised of a simple sleeveless jumper I sewed myself last summer, an optional light sweater, large floppy hat (completely depending on whether or not I wanted to be more dressy!), a cameo watch (Walmart), and pearl hair clips (also Walmart). I also wore cream high heels, but, somehow neglected to get them in one of the pictures? Silly of me...

~My hair-do is actually deceptively intricate. I put my hair up in sponge rollers for the morning, and then after taking them out simply pulled back the sides and clipped in place to get a good shape from the front. (Leave a few bits out if you want, or curl under your bangs) Then I haphazardly tucked and pinned up the rest with a handful of bobby pins. The wonderful thing about curls is that it really doesn't matter if they flip about, they still look great!

LOVELY!!!! I Love all of your vintage clothes. And I absolutely LOVE that hat!! I would wear hats all the time, but I can't find any that look good on me. ;) Where did you get yours??

Who takes your pictures?? You have the neatest poses. :)

Sarah,

Thanks for the comment! My sister takes most of the pictures of me! Its fun to twirl about finding new ways to take a photo - thus all the poses :)

As for the hat - I found it at a thrift store in Oregon. There are so many hats of all shapes and sizes, don't give up the search and I'm sure you'll find the perfect one!

Wow, how pretty! I love your hair and the hat. The outfit reminds me of kind of 1920s/30s, just an everyday look but so pretty!
