~Mod Modesty Monday: Katherine Heigl Fashion and Rescue Dogs!

So here we are, and its Monday again! I can't believe how fast time seems to fly by these days. I really wanted to do a tutorial on "Boho braids" this week, but, it didn't fit into my schedule! It'll keep for next week perhaps. Today I thought you might like to take a look at some pictures of a recent photo shoot Katherine Heigl did due to her passion for rescuing dogs... What you say? Take a look.

~What I found most amazing is how comparatively modest her gorgeous, vintage inspired, outfits are! Isn't that green dress amazing? I love all the full skirts and cinched waists, very 50s I think...

~I've been inspired by these photos and recently watching "Young Victoria", I'd like to do a photo shoot with our dog some time...

Personally, I think the green dress is horrid. But, I love the Black dress featured last. : )

The Young Victoria was fantastic! I was very pleasently surprised at how much I enjoyed it! I loved that there was barely any violence as well, I often have to pass up movies because I'm very sensitive to violent images.
I love that photoshoot, and those dress are delightful!

Kir,

Thanks for your comment and for following me! I'm sensitive to violent stuff in movies too - and was glad that The Young Victoria was such a peaceful, costume inspiring, film!

Wow, these are really pretty pictures! Thanks for sharing. My favorite is the flowered dress, and I wish I could see what color it actually is. :)

Very beautiful! I hope that she keeps up dressing modestly in all her movies! She is so beautiful. A classic face like hers needs no flaunting of her body!
