~Scottish Plaid~

~These interesting pictures come from R.R. McIAN's interesting book, "The Clans of the Scottish Highlands". Originally published in 1845 and dedicated to Queen Victoria, this book has a wealth of information on all the clans and their tartans. I scanned these photos for use in scrapbooks and such - too good to pass up!
